The One Relationship Killer That Nobody Talks About
There is an age-old saying that goes,
“The opposite of love isn’t hatred — it’s indifference.”
Regardless if you are dating, engaged, or married, having an indifferent attitude towards your partner is a more serious problem than people realize. You might not be actively fighting or at odds with one another, but if you stop caring about your relationship, it’s never a good sign.
We openly talk about a lot of the most common relationship problems.
Infidelity. Loss of trust. Outgrowing each other. Having different priorities. Immaturity. Bad timing. Geographical distance.
The list goes on and on.
But— the most overlooked relationship killer is complacency.
Complacency is dangerous because it doesn’t hit you all at once.
It doesn’t pop up in a fight or as a sudden change of pace in your relationship. It doesn’t hit you across the forehead or shake you by the shoulders. It doesn’t even present itself as a problem — at first.
