The “Birth Control” Method Nobody Tells Women About

Why aren’t we educating women about their bodies?

What if I told you there was a safe, effective birth control method that had zero side effects?

That didn’t involve artificial hormones, painful implants, or physical or chemical barriers during sex?

At the very least — wouldn’t you be curious to learn about it?

We live in a “quick fix” culture.

Health classes in high schools will inform you about condoms, pills, and IUDs but they won’t actually tell you much about how a woman’s body actually works.

The word “cycle” is often understood as synonymous with “period” when this couldn’t be further from the truth. A woman of childbearing age typically will go through four phases of the menstrual cycle:

  1. Menses Phase: Commonly known as a period, this is the phase where a woman’s uterine lining sheds if a pregnancy has not occurred.
  2. Follicular Phase: Following a period, the lining of a woman’s uterus thickens to prepare for the event of pregnancy.
  3. Ovulation: An ova (egg) is released from the ovaries.
