Nuanced take on this issue. Like others pointed out, I think the Me Too movement has actually done a lot of harm to both parties...but it was also born out of a place of serious hurt, guilt, shame, and a lack of being heard and taken seriously for many women.

It's always been hard for me to see men as bad people or abusers because almost all the men I know in my personal life would rather die protecting a woman than ever even thinking to hurt one. Still, it's important that we teach both our sons and daughters how to respect themselves and others so that it's never even a question whether someone was violated or abused.
