Men Aren’t Avoiding Marriage, They’re Avoiding Divorce
When it comes to dating, both sides of the aisle are hostile toward one another.
Men are angry at modern women for being too masculine, aggressive, sexually liberated, and blue-haired-radical-feminazi.
Women are angry at modern men for being too toxic, emotionally constipated, not taking enough initiative, and perpetuating misogyny at the same time.
We hate each other, and can’t live without each other at the same time.
There is also an ongoing argument about who benefits more from marriage, and who gets burned more severely in divorce.
Some may argue that men benefit more from marriage. They live longer, happier lives on average. Women traditionally do the majority of domestic labor, so men have their needs met. They get access to sex, the joys of children without nearly as much physical and emotional labor, and a safe and happy home.
