Why do we assume that masculine traits are superior?

Men and women aren’t fundamentally the same.

By design, the two are unique. Biologically, psychologically, and emotionally, men and women are different.

In recent years, the concepts of masculinity and femininity are up for debate, but, historically, there are certain qualities that are associated with each gender.

What are some examples of masculine and feminine qualities?

Traditional Masculine Traits:

  • Independent
  • Competitive
  • Logical
  • Strong
  • Dominant
  • Analytical
  • Ambitious
  • Aggressive
  • Straightforward
  • Self-Confident

While these traits are traditionally associated with masculinity, not every man embodies them. (Similarly, not every woman is lacking in them.)

On the other side of the coin, here are some traditionally feminine traits.
