If You Want A Man To Commit, Stop Doing This One Thing
Far too often, women are unhappy with the commitment-phobic men in their lives. Whether it means refusing to give us a title, being afraid to use the word “love,” or putting off buying that ring, men today aren’t as willing or eager to commit.
Plenty of men are already happy with the way things are.
Many of us have made the mistake of staying with a guy who is only semi-committed to us when it’s convenient for him.
We’ve all been there.
I recently had a friend complain to me about her current relationship status. It went something like this:
“I really like this guy…and he says he likes me too but he isn’t looking for a relationship right now. So we started this friends-with-benefits thing, only we aren’t really friends, and it seems like he’s getting all the benefits.”
Yup. That.
And don’t be fooled — this commitment-phobia is not lost on men past the initial dating stage, either.
Another far-too-common scenario:
“I’ve been dating my boyfriend for 6 years, and I really want to get married…but he says he isn’t ready…
