I enjoyed this! My boyfriend receives an email whenever I post but doesn't subscribe to Medium. He reads my articles sometimes but we don't really talk a ton about it. He's shown interest, especially if anything I write is about him, and will sometimes throw topic suggestions my way.

Personally, I don't mind that he doesn't read everything I write. I prefer it that way because I would never want to pressure or force someone to read something that they don't care about. It's the same with anyone in my life who knows about my writing. I would much rather my family member/friend mention that they read something I wrote (in their own free time) and wanted to chat about it.
