Hi Nick!
You seem like a lovely person, thank you for being open to conversation. Your comment really made me think about the work I share on this platform. I am a fairly new writer, and some may say fairly new at life in general (I'm in my early 20s).
I do think you're right - content that is rooted in hatred and anger isn't really doing anything to help anybody. I honestly prefer to write pieces that offer genuine advice or inspire conversation. However, as a new writer on this platform, I have also been trying to grow a following and it seems that my audience is most interested in reading my commentary about men and women - especially as it pertains to dating and the challenges that people face.
I do try to be careful about how my words come across and keep a relatively open mind to criticism or differing opinions, but I'm not perfect. Sometimes a little frustration or passion comes through on the page. (And then there's just the general fact that not everyone is going to agree on any perspective.)
Thank you for inspiring me to think about how I can make my pieces more productive than "revenge writing" as you've put it. (Many people on here might not believe this, but I am not angry at men at all. I am actually in a long-term relationship with an incredible young man myself.) I will give it some thought.
If you feel there are any topics that you'd like to see me explore, I am always open to suggestions! :)
