First-Date Sex Won’t Help You Get a Boyfriend

Modern women are breaking patriarchal standards, challenging stereotypes about female sexuality, and having fun while doing it.

That’s why women today are so happy with the way their dating lives are going.

Great sex, men who are meeting all their emotional needs, and flourishing relationships. Women today are happier than ever.

Except, of course, they aren’t.

Actually, many women today are pretty miserable.

They’re frustrated with men who won’t commit. They’re angry at men who have treated them badly in the past. They’re dissatisfied with the quality of men on dating apps. And they’re tired of being treated like objects, used for sex, and ghosted shortly after.

Women are quite unhappy with the dating scene — and their dating advice to other young ladies has gotten more and more problematic.

The latest of such bad advice is “have sex on the first date.”

Let’s start with some arguments for first-date sex:

1. Having sex can tell you a lot about your “chemistry” with someone.
