Attractiveness Does Not Equal Attraction

I recently came across an article that accused all men of either being gay or lying for not being attracted to transgender women.

The article displayed pictures of conventionally attractive transwomen and basically demanded that all straight men admit that they do, in fact, find transwomen attractive.

Now, the people featured in the article were outwardly feminine and beautiful. If you didn’t know they were transgender from being told outright, you wouldn’t be able to tell.

They were conventionally attractive according to female beauty standards.

But just because someone is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, or has conventionally attractive physical traits, does not mean that you are automatically attracted to them.

Let’s unpack.

There is a difference between a person with conventionally attractive qualities — and a person that you want to copulate with.

I admit that Kendall Jenner, Megan Fox, or Rhianna (whichever female celebrity) are very attractive women.
