An Open Letter To Single Women Everywhere

Three pieces of advice that women need to hear.

I won’t sugarcoat it.

Dating these days can be a nightmare.

Now, I know not every single woman out there is actively looking for a man. (If you’re enjoying the single life, more power to ya.)

But if you are looking to date, fall in love, and eventually settle down and start a family, you know that finding a decent man to date can be quite the struggle.

Here’s some non-PC dating advice that your friends are probably too nice to give you.

One — “high standards” are only necessary for things that matter.

Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with having standards.

We should all have standards for the people we have relationships with — romantic or otherwise. However, high standards will only take you so far when the emphasis is placed on the wrong qualities.

Women are often told to have standards for things like looks or financial assets. The “top 1%” of men are always associated with qualities like being rich, tall, and in good physical shape — but we seldom talk about a man’s character.
