I firmly believe that men and women should be friends. Platonic, opposite-gender friendships are important and healthy. That said, the dynamics between male-female friendships do change when someone gets into a relationship.

There are a few reasons as to why this might be. One is that friendships, in general, change when someone enters a new relationship.

Of course, nobody should completely neglect their friends just because they’ve found a romantic partner. Still, once a person starts dating seriously, it is common for them to have less time for their friends and family because they are trying to make room for a new priority in their lives. This is to be expected.

However, when it comes to a girl with a lot of male friends (or a guy with a lot of female friends), entering a relationship can get a bit….tricky.
